My mom loved the beach. We would drive her to Pismo and she would come alive. I don’t care how cold it was she would wade out into the ocean
up to her waist. She claimed that the ocean air was healing and made her more alive. I don’t know how true that is but for her it was definitely true. II can close my eyes and imagine the joy on her face. Mom had a tough life raising 5 kids and in her twilight years she loved her time at the each. If I could have taken her more often I would have.
